Only thing they could suggest was using Calibre to alter the metadata so the Title it was picking up was the file name. Tried multiple options with the help of their helpdesk but the functionality is not there at the moment. I then tried PocketBooks but although this can handle multiple formats I could not sort the PDFs by file name. I have tried Apple's Books app which was OK and did what I needed it to but a few updates ago it just started crashing and I got fed up of trying to resolve the issue.
I am looking for something that can handle multiple formats and sort/organize by file name - the reason for the last is I have given many of my PDFs file names that allow me to sort them into sequences usually based on series order or read order when they come from a main and side series combo. I am looking for a, preferably free or very low price, eBook/pdf reader app for my iphone and ipad.
