The battery is big enough to provide around four weeks of reading time, depending on light usage and how long you spend reading in a given session. It connects via Wi-Fi and even offers Bluetooth connectivity, so you can listen to audiobooks and read. There’s 8GB of storage built in, enough storage for thousands of books. You’ll also get a decently crisp 167 PPI resolution, so not only can you read in the dark, but it’ll look close to words on an actual page. It claims market share because the screen closely approximates what reading an actual book is like.įirst, Amazon has included a brand-new front light that allows you to read in the dark, previously only available on the more expensive Kindle Paperwhite. Only thing they could suggest was using Calibre to alter the metadata so the Title it was picking up was the file name. Tried multiple options with the help of their helpdesk but the functionality is not there at the moment. I am looking for something that can handle multiple formats and sort/organize by file name - the reason for the last is I have given many of my PDFs file names that allow me to sort them into sequences usually based on series order or read order when they come from a main and side series combo. I am looking for a, preferably free or very low price, eBook/pdf reader app for my iphone and ipad.
